How Much Is My Home Worth?

The biggest concern of homeowners today is “What Is My Home Worth?” Unfortunately, that question is not easy to answer. To give you the most accurate answer, I will need to see the property first.

How updated, particularly kitchen and bathrooms, is the home? What condition is it in? What is the curb appeal? Is it on a busy street? What are the adjacent properties? Is it next to or across from a school? What is the back yard like? Is it private? Is it flat? All of these and other features will impact value.

If you need an answer at this moment, I recommend Zillow.com. However, Zillow.com’s valuations have a plus or minus error of approximately 10%. Zillow.com doesn’t go out and look at your property or recently sold properties. Zillow.com valuations are based upon property records. So, your home may be worth 10% more or 10% less.
